How the Ratings Work
The consistency ratings combine two key factors for the 2026 season. They track how frequently a player posts a start-worthy total and how little his weekly output varies from his per-game average. A lower consistency rating signals steadier production. Start percentage shows the share of team games in which a player reached the start benchmark in standard leagues.
Scoring Details for Defensive Players
Individual defensive players earn points under a specific system: 1.5 for a solo tackle, 0.75 for an assisted tackle, 2 for a tackle for loss, 4 for a sack, 5 for an interception, 4 for a forced fumble, 4 for a fumble recovery, 6 for a touchdown, 2 for a safety, and 1.5 for a pass defended. These values feed directly into the weekly totals used for consistency calculations.
Benchmarks and Inclusion Rules
A start occurs when a player’s weekly points would merit being active in a standard league. Star weeks rank among the top performers at the position, while stiff weeks rank among the lowest. Players qualify for the charts with a start percentage of at least 20 in either scoring format. They also must rank among the top 15 quarterbacks, tight ends or kickers, top 40 running backs or wide receivers, or top 30 defensive linemen, linebackers or defensive backs in total points, or average at least 40 snaps per game. All defense and special teams units appear regardless of minimums.
