Pass Rush and Protection Standards
A new set of win rate rankings for the 2026 season measures how offensive and defensive linemen perform in both the run and pass games. Pass rush win rate tracks how frequently a rusher beats his block within 2.5 seconds. Pass block win rate shows how often linemen sustain blocks for 2.5 seconds or longer.
Run Stop Criteria and Matchup Results
Run stop win rate awards credit to defenders who beat blockers into better position, push blockers backward to disrupt lanes, contain runners so they must change paths, or record tackles within 3 yards of the line of scrimmage. Whenever a defender earns a run stop win, the opposing blocker is charged with a loss.
