The Philadelphia 76ers have converted center Tacko Fall to a two-way contract. The move comes after the team first signed the 7-foot-6 player to an Exhibit 10 deal last month, with several frontcourt absences creating the opening.
Injury Impact
Projected backup Ariel Hukporti suffered a season-ending right Achilles tear during the preseason. Adem Bona has been sidelined by a foot injury, while Dominick Barlow has dealt with back soreness that kept him out of exhibition games.
Fall's Background
Fall, 30, returns to the NBA for a fourth season. He last appeared in the league during the 2021-22 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. His first two seasons came in Boston alongside forward Jaylen Brown, who is now with the 76ers. Most recently, Fall played for the Ningbo Rockets of the Chinese Basketball Association.
