Overtime Drama Decides Outcome
The Bills outlasted the Rams 37-34 in overtime. In the extra period James Cook fumbled on a potential scoring drive before Harrison Mevis saw a 48-yard attempt blocked by Greg Rousseau.
Allen and Cook Power the Offense
Allen finished with 121 rushing yards while completing just four passes to receivers. Cook gained 111 yards on the ground. The Bills converted only two of seven third downs yet controlled the clock with a 5:35 drive that produced a go-ahead score with 1:39 remaining. Allen's scrambles of 15 and 21 yards fueled that possession before the Rams answered in roughly 90 seconds to force overtime.
Rams Penalized and Out of Sync
Los Angeles committed 11 penalties for 84 yards, bringing its season total to 42. Four of those flags were false starts. Davante Adams caught two red-zone touchdowns from four and five yards out, marking his 62nd receiving score inside the 10-yard line. Kyren Williams added 19 rushing yards and a touchdown on five carries along with 53 receiving yards on three catches.
