Evaluating Value Tiers
Value calculations rest on expected points per dollar spent. Players ranked in the top 10 percent for projected value qualify as great options, while those at or above the 75th percentile count as good selections. Average plays fall between the 25th and 74th percentiles. Picks in the 10th to 24th range are shaky, and anything lower is considered poor. Only players projected for at least 4 points appear in the rankings.
Constructing the Roster
Lineup success depends on mixing higher-priced players expected to deliver strong output with lower-cost options that still clear the value thresholds. The salary cap forces trade-offs, so a great-value selection can free up funds for other roster spots even if its raw projection is not the highest. Combining favorable matchups across positions while staying inside the limits is the core approach for the Sunday main slate in Week 5.
