Backfield Adjustments
The Eagles will be without their primary running back for Sunday's game against the Panthers after he was ruled out with a hamstring issue. Two other backs are also unavailable, clearing the way for another player to handle most of the workload. The wide receiver who missed the previous two contests with his own hamstring problem carries no injury tag and is set to rejoin the lineup.
Quarterback Change
A different signal caller is expected to take the snaps after the starter was ruled out earlier in the week due to a calf condition. The backup has been listed to lead the offense.
Additional Roster Notes
The running back who left early in the first quarter of the Week 4 loss to the Rams has not returned, and another back went on injured reserve Friday with a foot injury.
