Mock Draft Trends
A recent 10-team points mock draft saw the first round feature four point guards, three power forwards and two centers. Anthony Edwards was the lone shooting guard taken, while the first small forward went at No. 13. Four small forwards came off the board in round 6, showing that wing depth arrives later while point guards and big men dominate early selections.
Guard Tiers
Point guard offers room to wait, with a deep third tier that includes several strong options. Shooting guard tiers place Anthony Edwards at the top after a projected 30.3 PPG. Depth exists in middle rounds, allowing managers to find value without reaching early.
Forward and Center Breaks
Small forward top options drop off quickly after tier 1. Power forward has a sizable middle group, while center remains concentrated near the top with Nikola Jokic in his own tier. Victor Wembanyama sits alone in the next tier after a projected 26.3 PPG, 12.2 RPG and 3.5 BPG. Managers should weigh remaining players in each tier when deciding whether to reach or wait.
