Quarterback Choice
Both Philo and Tramell Jones Jr. received first-team work during the week, yet the decision went to Philo for the matchup in Atlanta on Saturday.
Philo's Recent Path
Philo sat out Florida's 27-24 win over Texas on Oct. 17 with a shoulder issue. He has completed 70.5 percent of his passes for 1,341 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions across six games this season. The quarterback previously played two years at Georgia Tech and set the Georgia high school record with 13,922 passing yards over four seasons.
Injury Report
Receiver Vernell Brown III is probable after missing three games with a knee sprain. Receiver Bailey Stockton and linebacker Jaden Robinson are doubtful. Georgia will again be without running back Chauncey Bowens, who has a foot injury, while safety KJ Bolden is a game-time decision with a leg issue.
