Incident Details
Four men were arrested in connection with the shooting of 49ers defensive lineman Keion White at a Mission District nightclub. The incident took place just after 4 a.m. on Feb. 9 at the Dahlia nightclub, where White was hosting a private Super Bowl party. White was shot in the ankle and underwent surgery at a local hospital. San Francisco Police Chief Derrick Lew said multiple suspects with firearms confronted White that night. Investigators relied on video footage and witness accounts to identify the individuals involved, with assistance from agencies in Atlanta, Stockton, Irvine and Los Angeles.
Local Arrests and Charges
On Oct. 7, local authorities arrested 35-year-old Curtis Green in Irvine. Two days later, 36-year-old Gregory Walker of Mountain House was taken into custody. Both men were booked into San Francisco County Jail and were set to appear in court. Prosecutors plan to seek no bail for Walker due to public safety concerns and intend to charge him with assault with a semiautomatic firearm along with gun possession as a felon. Green faces misdemeanor counts of brandishing a firearm and carrying a concealed loaded gun in public. Two additional suspects arrested in other jurisdictions remain outside local custody and will face charges upon arrival in San Francisco.
Additional Suspects and Player Update
One 38-year-old man was arrested Oct. 7 in Atlanta on a no-bail warrant. Officers recovered an illegal firearm at the scene along with thousands of grams of MDMA, methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl from his home. That same day, a 36-year-old man was arrested in Stockton, where authorities found a loaded firearm, over 100 oxycodone pills and $7,000 in cash. White has appeared in all five games this season for the 49ers and recorded three sacks.
