Staying Sharp After Historic Win
UCF coach Scott Frost stressed that the team must approach its upcoming game with the same focus shown in the recent victory. The Knights dealt with several challenges earlier in the season but delivered strong performances when needed most. Frost warned against complacency, noting that other teams have struggled to follow big results with consistent play.
Quarterback Situation Remains Fluid
Backup signal-caller Keyone Jenkins cleared medical checks and is set to start again. Frost noted progress from the primary quarterback but indicated the current starter holds the edge due to recent form. The program added Jenkins through the transfer process as added depth behind the top option acquired from another school.
Looking to Build Consistency
Frost pointed to recent examples of teams that faltered after strong outings, using them as motivation for his squad. He highlighted the program's history of memorable moments while emphasizing steady improvement throughout the year. The focus now shifts to preparation and execution in the next matchup.
