Nabers Cleared After Limited Work
New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers is set to face the Washington Commanders on Sunday following a missed Wednesday session tied to right knee soreness. He took part on a limited basis the next day while managing the same knee that required surgery last season. Nabers leads the team with 208 receiving yards and comes off a game in which he caught six passes on seven targets for 112 yards and a touchdown.
Thomas, Skattebo and Likely Also Expected
Left tackle Andrew Thomas, who has been dealing with a groin issue, is likewise expected to play. Running back Cam Skattebo (shoulder) and tight end Isaiah Likely (knee/groin) round out the group of players who were either limited or did not practice this week yet remain on track to participate.
Giants Aim to Extend Division Lead
The Giants enter the matchup at 3-1 and hope to build on their edge in the NFC East when they meet the 1-3 Commanders. Nabers had been building toward greater comfort with the knee after missing all spring work and returning just before the season opener.
