Strong International Window
Viktor Gyökeres returns to his club side after netting four times in four matches during the international window. That performance set a new mark in the competition and extended his personal scoring run to seven consecutive games. The goals came across victories against Romania and Poland along with a draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina, helping Sweden reach the top of their group.
Limited Minutes So Far at Club Level
The 28-year-old arrived from Sporting Lisbon in a £64 million deal last summer yet has featured in just two substitute outings in the league this season. With one forward dealing with a hamstring problem, Gyökeres could see increased involvement when matches resume. Arsenal suffered a 3-0 setback at Brighton before the break.
Calafiori Also Impresses
The defender, who found the net after 24 seconds in the Community Shield, has been urged by his manager to continue using his attacking instincts when the chance arises.
