Hunt Unlikely to Suit Up
Eagles edge rusher Jalyx Hunt suffered ankle and knee injuries during the previous contest when his left leg twisted awkwardly while chasing a loose ball. The team views his availability for the upcoming matchup as highly improbable, though he is known for pushing hard to return quickly once cleared.
Greenard Also Sidelined
Fellow edge defender Jonathan Greenard sat out the last game after dealing with an ankle issue. The defensive coordinator expressed optimism that he could be ready for the next contest, providing a potential boost to the pass rush.
Offense Awaits Returns
On the other side of the ball, wide receiver DeVonta Smith and running back Saquon Barkley continue to work back from hamstring problems. The head coach indicated cautious hope that both could contribute soon given their strong efforts to recover.
Depth Issues in Backfield and Secondary
Running back Will Shipley faces an extended absence after a partial plantar fascia tear, while Tank Bigsby remains on injured reserve with an abdomen problem. In the secondary, safety Marcus Epps sat out with a groin injury and Michael Carter II left the field with an abdominal issue and did not return.
