Breakout Performance in Week 6
Louisville running back Isaac Brown delivered the standout effort of the week with 17 carries for 235 yards and two touchdowns, along with a 71-yard kick return. His speed turned a 14-0 deficit into a decisive 44-6 run that lifted the Cardinals.
Long Runs Define the Day
Brown opened the scoring surge with a 97-yard touchdown that left defenders behind. He added another long score late in the game with no one in pursuit and used his kick return to set up an additional touchdown.
Season Context and Recognition
After a slow start that included just 4.1 yards per carry through four games, Brown has shown he can change games when healthy. He now ranks among the few players with multiple 60-plus yard rushes this season, and his explosiveness gives Louisville one of the most dynamic offenses in the country.
