Talent Assessment
Cam Little believes Harry Kane possesses enough ability to succeed as an NFL kicker. Little noted that Kane would need to master a routine of delivering on multiple attempts each day, with any miss counting as a failure to complete the job.
Cultural Transition Challenges
The bigger obstacle, according to Little, lies in the change from playing a full 90-minute match to waiting on the sideline for limited opportunities. Kane would move from starring as a forward to supporting others in a backup capacity. This shift removes the personal drive that defines a top striker and replaces it with a more patient, team-oriented mindset focused on specific moments.
Little's Own Experience
Little drew from his path as a former midfielder who switched to American football in high school. He connected the pressure of a missed extra point in a recent contest to the way soccer players respond after errors, stressing the need for quick recovery. Little also shared plans to attend a Premier League match while the Jaguars remain in London ahead of their next game.
