Recent Record-Breaking Games
Ohio State's star receiver has turned breaking school marks into a regular occurrence. In three of the last four weeks he has either tied or taken sole possession of an Ohio State record. One week he tied the school mark for most receiving touchdowns in a single game with four. The following week he became the outright leader in career receptions and receiving touchdowns. Another week he moved to the top of the career receiving yards list.
Big Ten Totals in Reach
Smith is now one touchdown reception away from tying the Big Ten career record in that category. He also remains tied with Marvin Harrison Jr. for the most 100-plus-yard receiving games in school history at 16. His next game above that yardage total would give him sole possession of that Ohio State mark. The receiver is also approaching the conference career receiving yards record.
