Maple Leafs Acquire Forward Aatu Räty in Trade with Canucks

Trade Execution
The Maple Leafs completed a deal to bring in Aatu Räty from the Vancouver Canucks. The transaction occurred after Räty cleared waivers. Toronto sent forwards Jacob Quillan and Brandon Buhr to Vancouver to complete the exchange. Räty now joins his third NHL organization following the move.
Career Path
Räty entered the league after being selected in the second round of the 2021 draft by the New York Islanders. The Islanders later included him in a 2023 deal that sent him to Vancouver. The forward has appeared in 118 games across those stops and has tallied 29 points during that span. He is scheduled to turn 25 next month.
Team Adjustments
