Mathys Tel scored three times in a 7-1 victory over Switzerland, bringing his total to 17 goals for the France Under-21 side and matching the mark set by Odsonne Edouard. The result completed an unbeaten group campaign that featured eight wins, leaving Tel in position to press for a senior call-up.
Tottenham's Position
Roberto De Zerbi's side dropped to the foot of the Premier League table after a 3-2 home loss to Aston Villa, their third defeat in the first five matches. The team now prepares for a trip to Manchester United on Saturday while looking to reverse their start to the campaign.
Fitness Concerns
Right-back Pedro Porro has been managing a hamstring issue, while defender Jan Paul van Hecke returned early from international duty with a foot problem. Captain Micky van de Ven suffered a minor hand injury but is expected to feature in the upcoming fixture.
