Long History of Limited Availability
Over a 10-year career the center has never played a full 82 games and has exceeded 60 appearances in just four seasons while averaging 49 games per year when excluding the first two seasons missed entirely. Last season he appeared in 38 games, twice the total from the prior year, while dealing with multiple setbacks that also kept him out of training camp and the preseason.
Early Work Creates Better Flow
The guard with six years alongside the center said the healthy start this year lets the group install more offensive packages instead of learning during games. They have spent two to three weeks repeating drills on positioning and cuts that become much harder without prior time together.
New Additions Face Steeper Adjustment
Players new to the roster lack that shared history and must quickly adapt to the center's preferences on the floor.
