Mixon Lands in Seattle
Joe Mixon is set to join the Seahawks after missing the entire 2025 campaign with a foot injury. At age 30 he is coming off a 2024 stretch with Houston that produced 1,325 scrimmage yards and 12 touchdowns. That output marked his fourth consecutive season above 1,250 scrimmage yards and at least nine scores. While questions remain about whether he can regain that level, the addition gives fantasy managers a recognizable name to monitor on waivers.
Seattle Backfield Outlook
Emanuel Wilson rushed for 120 yards and two scores in the most recent outing and remains the lead option for now. Zach Charbonnet has a 21-day practice window open but is ruled out for Week 5, while Jadarian Price sits on injured reserve with a chest issue and is expected to miss at least three more contests.
Waiver Strategy
Mixon is worth a low-cost add in most leagues simply to evaluate his workload. Managers who claim him can also explore trade offers, given the appeal of established names.
