Fourth-Down Heroics Seal Win
On fourth-and-5 from the Philadelphia 27-yard line, Parker Washington fought through contact to make a one-handed grab in the end zone. The play gave the Jaguars the lead, and they held on for a 19-17 victory after a 57-yard field goal. The 2023 sixth-round selection has shown similar reliability on third and fourth downs since Week 11 of 2025, recording 17 catches for 381 yards at 22.4 yards per reception.
Skill Built on Early Training
At 5-foot-10 with 29-inch arms, Washington consistently plays above his size. His training started at age 3 with drills that emphasized tracking and securing the ball. Those habits carried through high school, where he recorded 124 catches for 2,315 yards and 35 touchdowns in his final two seasons, and into his time as the No. 185 overall pick.
Extension Talks on the Horizon
Washington leads the Jaguars in 2026 with 25 catches, 352 yards and four touchdowns. Since the start of the 2025 season he has 80 catches for 1,199 yards and nine scores. The team has discussed an extension that could exceed $30 million per year, and the sides remain open to an agreement during the current season.
