Injury Details
The second-year back sustained the high ankle sprain during the second quarter of New England's win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The issue developed after an 11-yard run when he was brought down along the sideline and limped off the field. Henderson will avoid an operation and the team hopes he can return in relatively short order. He had already sat out the season opener earlier this year due to a prior ankle problem.
Season Production
Through four games Henderson has accumulated 163 yards and one touchdown on 42 carries.
Backup Performance
Corey Kiner stepped into the primary backup role behind starter Rhamondre Stevenson and recorded 52 yards on six carries while also losing a fumble. Stevenson handled the bulk of the work with 64 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries.
