Randle’s Brooklyn opportunity

Julius Randle’s move from Minnesota to Brooklyn creates an opportunity for fantasy managers to land substantial production without paying a premium. With the Nets short on offensive firepower, Randle and Michael Porter Jr. Should have plenty of chances to carry the scoring load. Randle has already demonstrated the value of a featured role. Across three Knicks seasons beginning in 2020-21, he averaged 23.2 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.1 assists, appearing in at least 71 games each season. Shooting efficiency and turnovers remain considerations, but his Brooklyn opportunity supports a top 50 fantasy valuation even if early draft interest remains muted.

Guards with room to reward managers

Austin Reaves does not necessarily need a statistical leap to justify greater draft attention. The Lakers guard contributes across scoring, rebounding and assists while combining perimeter volume with 49% shooting from the field. His standing as the team’s No. 2 offensive option strengthens that appeal. Stephon Castle offers a different path to value: continued development. After broad improvement in his second season, the Spurs guard has room to increase his scoring and outside shooting while maintaining useful rebounding and steals. Dylan Harper’s expected growth is worth monitoring, but Castle’s own progress supports optimism. Darius Garland also deserves attention when he slips well beyond Round 5. His Clippers role offers a plausible route back toward 20-plus points and 7.5 assists, with additional contributions in steals and perimeter scoring.

Frontcourt depth worth targeting

Alperen Sengun’s averages of 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists make him a strong foundation rather than a player to let slide. Jalen Johnson’s combination of scoring, rebounding and playmaking likewise warrants serious consideration in Round 2. Later on, Kel’el Ware brings opportunity-driven upside in Milwaukee. After averaging barely 22 minutes, he could benefit from a larger role with the rebuilding Bucks. His rebounding, efficient shooting and defensive contributions make him an appealing target as drafts reach Round 8.
