Playground Pitch Draws the Team
A history teacher at the fictional school turns to social media to ask the Philadelphia 76ers for help building a playground after learning the Eagles provide one for a local school each year. Impostors in team jerseys show up first, but the actual players arrive soon after to respond to the request.
Mix-Up with the Stars
Tyrese Maxey introduces himself along with VJ Edgecombe and Jaylen Brown, whom he calls the team's new guy. The teacher admits he does not follow men's sports closely and fails to recognize the visitors, even asking where LeBron James might be.
Growing Roster of Local Athletes
The appearance adds to a pattern of Philadelphia sports figures joining the series. Jalen Hurts appeared virtually with Jason Kelce and Brandon Graham, while DeVonta Smith, Kyle Schwarber, Gritty and Andre Iguodala have also featured in episodes or storylines.
