Trade Completed After Texans' First Win
The Texans completed a deal for Marvin Harrison Jr. following their victory over the Titans. The move came after Houston opened the year at 1-4.
Harrison's Production Has Lagged
Harrison posted four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns in his second career game. Through the first four weeks this season he recorded 85 yards and one touchdown on five catches. His career totals stand at 1,578 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns in 33 games, and he was on pace for roughly 362 yards this year. He has drawn 79.4 percent of his targets from outside alignments.
Houston Seeks Added Playmakers
The Texans rank with a 97.6 passer rating and have seen their quarterback throw no interceptions across five straight weeks. Their run game has averaged 2.9 yards per carry. With one receiver sidelined by a hamstring issue, the offense averaged 11.5 points per game in two contests. Harrison is expected to line up outside and run a wider variety of routes to complement the existing targets.
