Dallas has a path to cover in Houston

Houston is favored at home despite an 0-3 start, creating an early case for taking Dallas with the points. Nico Collins could return from a hamstring injury to help Houston’s passing attack, but his availability remains uncertain. The Texans’ rushing production is another concern at 3.6 yards per carry. Dak Prescott’s opportunity to attack intermediate openings against Houston’s zone-heavy defense makes Dallas an appealing underdog.

Buffalo gets a favorable matchup

The unbeaten Bills lead the league in scoring, while New England arrives after a 35-6 defeat against Jacksonville. Drake Maye has already thrown six interceptions and struggled against pressure in Week 3. The Patriots have also had trouble defending the run. That combination gives Buffalo a strong matchup-based case, with multiple avenues to build separation if New England’s problems persist.

Offenses could shape Jaguars-Bengals

Jacksonville and Cincinnati enter at 2-1, but neither defense offers much reason to assume a low-scoring matchup. Cincinnati, meanwhile, has allowed 383 yards per game. That leaves Trevor Lawrence an opening to respond and supports an early scoring-oriented angle, rather than treating Jacksonville’s defense as an established shutdown unit.

Miami’s rushing approach offers an underdog angle

Winless Miami faces unbeaten Minnesota, but the Dolphins’ run-heavy approach could complicate the Vikings’ aggressive blitzing strategy under Brian Flores. Miami ranks 31st in pass rate over expected. Leaning on the ground game could help the Dolphins disrupt Minnesota’s preferred defensive approach enough to stay within 10, even without pulling off an upset.
