Amorim Declines Comment on Former Club
Ruben Amorim offered no remarks about Manchester United ahead of AC Milan's Europa League game at Bournemouth. Sacked in January following 14 months in charge, he took the Milan job in June. He described himself as unchanged as a person yet improved in his work, stressing his full attention now rests on the Italian club and its challenges.
Injury Updates and Youth Opportunity
Samuel Chukwueze will miss the match due to a hip problem, while Gonçalo Ramos is sidelined by a calf strain. Amorim expects the 19-year-old Alphadjo Cissè, who he views as having reached only half his potential, to start against the home side.
Carrick Under Pressure at United
Michael Carrick, who took over from Amorim, faces mounting scrutiny after a difficult start to the season. His side lost 4-1 to Cesc Fabregas' Como in Italy on Wednesday, with post-match remarks from Carrick and Fernandes appearing to show tension.
