Decisive late intervention
After Hull took the lead through Joe Gelhardt and saw the advantage cancelled out, Thierno Barry put the visitors ahead. In the 74th minute Belloumi collected a cross from Elliot Stroud, feinted to shoot, moved the ball past Jarrad Branthwaite and finished low to level the score at 2-2.
Strong early returns in the top flight
Across six matches and 424 minutes this season Belloumi has recorded three goals and two assists, contributing directly every 85 minutes on average. He scored twice in the 2-2 draw with Chelsea and added assists against other sides while also topping Hull's scoring and assisting charts. His debut for Algeria came in a 3-1 win over Zambia, followed by a goal against Burundi and another in a 2-1 friendly victory over Niger.
