Harry Maguire stated that the Manchester United squad has left Lisandro Martinez's criticism of the summer transfer business in the past. The Argentina defender had directed comments at the club's director of football after a Champions League defeat and later issued an apology. Maguire noted that while there has been plenty of discussion around the team, the matter is now closed following the apology.
Leeds Draw and Injury Worry
Martinez returned to the starting side for the 1-1 draw at Elland Road but was replaced at half-time. Maguire praised his contribution in the opening period and expressed hope that the player avoids any serious injury that could sideline him further.
Season Challenges
Maguire acknowledged that results have fallen short of the previous campaign, with the team collecting seven points from their first seven Premier League games. He said the group faces regular scrutiny when results do not go their way but remains committed to staying united ahead of the next fixture.
