Missouri quarterback Austin Simmons has re-signed with the program for the 2027 season. The move comes as the Ole Miss transfer continues to lead the Tigers in his first full year as a starter.
Strong Numbers Fuel Momentum
Simmons ranks fourth in the SEC with 244 passing yards per game. He has thrown 16 touchdown passes against just two interceptions on 240 attempts. Those efforts have helped Missouri reach a 6-2 record and the No. 18 spot in the College Football Playoff standings.
Transfer Path to Success
After earning the starting role at Ole Miss in 2025, Simmons transferred to Missouri and has thrived. The left-handed passer has benefited from the coaching staff while guiding a team that retains most of its top skill players for future seasons.
