Miami Honors 2001 Squad
Miami enters Week 8 as the nation's top team for the first time in more than two decades and marks the occasion with a return to early-2000s style. The look pairs orange jerseys with white pants and helmets, incorporating green sleeve accents and a five-stripe pattern along the jersey and pants. The design draws directly from the 2001 national championship squad.
Retro and Alternate Themes Elsewhere
UCLA selects a powder-blue throwback set with white numbers and light gold pants and helmets for its homecoming matchup. SMU introduces a city-edition jersey featuring Dallas lettering on a bright blue base along with an alternate helmet outlined in a tri-striped D. Wyoming shifts to an all-black monochromatic uniform with white accents, moving away from its usual brown and gold palette.
