Cross Injury Details
Seahawks left tackle Charles Cross suffered a high ankle sprain during the win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. An MRI confirmed the injury after he limped off in the fourth quarter and did not return. The expectation is that he will miss time, with the hope for a return in one or two weeks. Josh Jones stepped in to finish the game and is positioned to start in Week 8 against the Chicago Bears.
Additional Injury Updates
Wide receiver Rashid Shaheed also exited Sunday's contest with a knee injury that sidelined him for the second half. Initial assessments on his status have come back positive.
Running Back Developments
The Seahawks plan to open the 21-day practice window this week for rookie running back Jadarian Price, a first-round pick who has been on injured reserve for the last four games due to a chest injury. Zach Charbonnet, recovering from February ACL surgery, remained inactive on Sunday despite completing a full week of practice participation. The approach calls for continued full-capacity work before further evaluation.
